Paula is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with over 16 years of experience working with children and adults. She specializes in evaluating and treating a wide range of communication needs including speech and language delays, orofacial myofunctional disorders, feeding difficulties, and accent modification.
Her approach to therapy is family-centered and collaborative. She believes in working closely with each family to determine the best approach for their loved one. Paula follows each client's lead and taps into their interests to build rapport, comfort, connection and an intrinsic desire to communicate and grow.
Throughout her career, Paula has had the privilege of working in both elementary schools and private practice settings. She was drawn to the field of speech language pathology shortly after moving to the United States at the age of 20. Her passion for helping others started as a young child and discovering the field of communication sciences felt like finding her true calling.
Paula is a proud mom of two wonderful neurodivergent boys, one of whom is autistic. Being both a therapist and a parent of neurodivergent children has given her a unique, compassionate perspective when working with individuals and families, especially those navigating special needs.
When she is not in the office, she loves spending time with her family, traveling, baking, or playing with her adorable miniature schnauzer.
She is honored to support families on their communication journey.
